What Rarebits are…

Rarebits are collectable NFTs (non-fungible tokens) which are minted (created) on the ETH blockchain. Each Bunny is a 3000px wide hand illustrated .JPEG in high definition.

Rarebits are created within Adobe Photoshop using an A3 Wacom Graphics Tablet allowing the hand-drawn process to translate directly into digital.

What’s the story behind them…

In late December 2020 the “creator” decided that a creative daily task was required to channel creative thoughts outside of the day-to-day job. Bunnies as dailies (illustrations drawn each day) was decided on. Two days later a friend mentioned NFT’s and off down a rabbit hole the creative process went.

For (at least) the next year up until 31^st December 2021 a new Rarebit Bunny is illustrated and released as an NFT. Every day has a different theme or style; ranging from comedy themes to crypto inspirations and art movements.

At the time of writing this, 36 days into the process every single bunny has sold out and over 100 buyers are now buying and selling Rarebits on the secondary market.
